Moving along

I'm so sick of fast food, processed, refined foods.  Ugh.  Not only is my weight up, but my pain level went to a point that I needed to take some Prednisone today.  All the food is quick now.  Cleaned out the fridge and freezer.  Moving things up and down to the house.   On Tuesday the movers come to pack up, and on Wednesday they come to unpack in the new home.

I just had to start a bit on the gardens.  So when we were there last Saturday morning I cleaned and pulled out a few weeds.  I was able to find the path of the garden which had overgrown.

Took Jax 2 trips (4 days) to finally learn he could run!  On Saturday morning he did a little run, then looked at me - like a questioned in his eyes.  I said come on, run again.  He did a little run again and looked at me.  I said RUN!  and clapped my hands, and he flew!!!  He realized he could just run and not worry about being yanked back by a leash.  He ran, and ran, and ran.  Could just see the biggest grin on his face as he ran passed me.  He was so wet and filthy...... he was the first to experience the soaker tub.  ha ha ha.

Now it's just those last boxes to pack.  Tomorrow the net and tv and phone will be unplugged.  Will need to find something to read....which is all packed!  ophs.

Look forward to being in the new home.  It's been cleaned as best we can at this moment.  The little things needed to be fixed is getting done.  The dog knows he can run in the backyard.... not the front. He did escape out the front and down the street.  Thank God people a few houses down were out with their dog and he stopped to meet them.  I got him then.  He sniffed with the other little dog...then the little dog snapped at him.  There are 2 houses we walk by they both have LARGE german sheppards, very nice looking, but in both houses the dogs jump on the front window doors and they shake the door.  I hope they never are able to get out!!!  Scary.

Will be posting as soon as I can once we get into the new home this week.  I hope.  But I will keep posting.

Our House

Our house is a very, very fine house.  With 2 cats and a dog.  Getting it was hard.  But now we home and it's peaceful!

FINALLY all done and we are in.  That 2nd mortgage company took until 12pm Friday with the lawyer paperwork and at 230pm they transferred the money.  We got in at 3pm.  It was messy.  Took AJ Friday night and all of Saturday to clean the small kitchen.  The stove top was horribly dirty - took him hours.  I just got to the floors, basement and garage done.

We go back up Wednesday to continue cleaning.

Feel much better.  Look forward to moving in next week.

Have an appointment tomorrow with Marly in the morning, and Jacqui in the evening.  So glad - need it.

Seriously???

It's Thursday at 6pm and we are STILL waiting for one piece of paper to be approved by the second mortgage company!  It's just a title and their lawyer is stalling on it.  The second mortgage.... which is suppose to be a bridge loan for 17 days, 17 days!!, and they are making us jump thru crazy hoops and charging us mega $$ for it.  And this afternoon someone (who could have said something a long time ago) mentioned we should have looked into credit union to see about a bridge loan!  What the F(#$#(*$#(*)(%^()%&^)&(^$)*&^%)#*^)$*#(#@*!

The car is packed with stuff for us to bring up tomorrow.  The proper mortgage is fine - it just that 2nd one that is screwing around.  Sigh.  I'm up in weight - no surprise.  I went to see Laura today and got a month's supply of IP products so I can start October 1/2017.  I might actually start on the 25th of September instead.

Tomorrow the lawyer said the 1st mortgage will pay fine, it's whether the second one will do it and when.  I can see they might just hold us up until 5pm.  I do know we will eventually get this house.

And why am I complaining when there are others without even a home.......

Time Flies

Time flies when your...driving then packing.  Moving along with things and still hoping everything will work perfectly for Sept 8th.  

We drove to Cambridge Friday (long weekend traffic!) to sign papers for the second mortgage.  Was really nice that the mortgage guy offered to meet us half way.  Hopefully he got back in time, as it was 3pm when we signed, to get the papers sent off.  He said they would be sent off that afternoon and our lawyer would have the papers on Tuesday morning. I'm waiting to see if that's really the case at this point.  Praying we will be able to go to the lawyers Tuesday to sign off.  Apparently the second mortgage place wanted more paper work from us - per the lawyer.  She had the papers for us originally buying this house, so she could send those off, but we had to email her a copy of the land lease agreement - which we did this weekend.

Tuesday I bring the car in to get it detailed.  So need a clean car!  Then on Thursday I can totally pack as much as I can in it and bring that all up with us on Friday.

Had Poon pancakes for breakfast.... will be so glad to go back to IP foods and plan when we are 'home'.  Miss it, and find IP sits better on my stomach.  Tho I have been stressed so my stomach hasn't been easy lately.  Find that I am more hungry either lately, or on Poon / quick foods.  Quick foods as in Campbell's Chunky Soup.  You'd think soup would be good, but probably the salt etc.  Will be better once I make my own.

Tonight is ground turkey and veg.  That should be fine and comfortable.  Yes!
