After that dream, I continued to meditate on things, but everything seems to be quiet for the last few days.
It's like that's it for the moment.
Moving on, mostly general things have been happening. Beautiful weather - which got me out into the garden. This week I was able to get the front finished for the spring. Lined the three gardens with that black liner, seeded the grass, but I don't think that took too well. We went and got stones for that spot.....between our driveway and the next is just that patch was weedy and dry. We got rocks and black cloth. I put in 9 semi small planters, laid the black cloth and because the guy delivered the stones/rocks started shoveling them into the strip. As I had started after 4pm, the neighbour across the street came home with the children, and he sent over the boy...then the other house the two little boys wanted to help too. They were a help, and I got a start done. I wasn't able to finish as I didn't have enough black cloth. Paid the little boys $5 each for helping, and the other $10. Was glad for their help.
Few days later the weather was better again, and started with my rocks around 1pm. Ironically Mike happened to come by to pick up a box from the guy across the street and saw us. He came back and helped shovel. I had started on my own with AJ watching and I thought I'm not going to be able to do this finished today - I need help. My chest hurt shoveling. BUT my chest doesn't hurt if I'm placing the rocks around. I was so very grateful for Mike happening to come by, and then offering to help. He kept shoveling until it was done. I then shoveled the left over few rocks around the front.
FYI about Mike.... him and Maureen are the ones that sold and are moving. Haven't really talked with Maureen since they sold and now found a house in Bobcayeon. I am happy for them. They move end of this month (May). In a way will miss them, but also glad not to have to worry about a friendship where I have to worry about what I say. She's much easier to deal with by not seeing her that often.
The other day I worked in the back yard. Got one side garden done with the black liner, and put 2x4 along the bottom of the fence - trying to keep anything small out. Which apparently we have a tiny baby bunny in the yard. And now I think it's living under the deck. It came from the other side fence - which I still have to do. Got the grass cutting done, and finally washing the bird feeders!
We found a boy - he posted about cleaning off the dirt and stones on the lawn from the winter. I called him, he came cleaned the front yard and I asked him if he could remove the broken shed. Yes. He came back and did it. Nice boy - about 16 yrs, works for a farm company, goes to school and does his own work (like lawn cleaning). Very polite and friendly. Asked him if he could clean the grass off on the side of the house as we want to put crushed stones there. He said he'd call me and bring a rototiller. Hope he will come back.
More gardening to do......
